The Snorkel Experience and the Snorkel Safari are fun, educational, interactive and engaging snorkel tours, that we deliver across all our reef sites with our Reef Tourism Partners.
Our university-trained marine biologists have over 55 years collective in- water guiding experience and know their numerous reef sites aka their backyards intimately.
Our mission is to deliver unique immersive experiences to our valued guest by giving them a window into the lives of our local reef residents.

If you are a first time snorkeller or newer to the sport and appreciate joining an intimate group with our marine biologist, this is the tour for you. Explore the world heritage Great Barrier Reef with its numerous stories to tell on this fun, educational, interactive, and engaging tour.
Snorkel Safari
For comfortable snorkelers with a taste of adventure, take a short boat ride to our exclusive snorkel safari sites. Enjoy gliding above extensive coral formations, fish aggregations and interact with some of the iconic megafauna of the GBR such as sharks, turtles and rays, while your Marine Biologist shares the wonderful stories of this global icon.

Our Marine Biologist lead a drift snorkel along the outer edge of Moore Reef showcasing a very diverse fish aggregation site and extensive walls of plate forming corals.
Big Cat Green Island
Cairns, Queensland
Green Island a 3000-year-old wooded coral cay, and one of most iconic tourism sites on the GBR for over 120 years.
Snorkel Experience
Our Marine Biologist, start the tour directly off the Green Island soft sand beach, then travel through the extensive shallow water seagrass beds and coral reef to explore under the oldest man-made structure on the GBR for large schools of fish.
Snorkel Safari
Our Marine Biologist lead a drift snorkel along the outer edge of Green Island showcasing the Green Island Rehabilitation Project and some natural pristine coral areas with diverse fish life.
Fitzroy Island
Cairns, Queensland
Fitzroy Island is a large continental Island, located only several kilometres from the mainland, where lush tropical rainforest stretches from the summit to the beach and has an extensive fringing coral reef that surrounds the island.
Snorkel Experience
Our Marine Biologist start the tour directly off the coral rubble beach and transgress through highly diverse fringing reef and quite common to see some of the GBR’s iconic megafauna.
Snorkel Safari
Our Marine Biologist lead the tour around remote locations on Fitzroy Island, famous for their high areas of live coral in very shallow water with rainforest backdrops.
